Mental Health: Is the 21st Century Here Yet?
Presented by Dan Thomas, LPC, Director of Behavioral Health with Moda Health
The world of Behavioral Health is changing faster than ever before. Almost 20 years after Oregon passed its landmark Parity law, regulators continue to raise the bar for compliance. Will providers and insurers adopt best practices to ensure Oregonians have ready access to effective care? This presentation surveys today’s challenges and opportunities and shares how one carrier is navigating them.

So, what is going on? Are there signs of a loosening labor market? I will be addressing these questions and more by outlining Oregon’s current economy through a labor market perspective.
